John Cusimano has been writing songs since the early 1980's. Recently much of his writing has been done in collaboration with lyricists and other composers (including John Fracchia) through a group of songwriters called the Songwriters Gang. John's music crosses a diverse variety of genres including; pop rock, ballads, country, adult album alt, classic rock, contemporary christian, etc. Although widely varied, a hallmark of his music is catchy melodies with strong hooks.

Key Influences: Early influences were Elton John and The Beatles. More recent influences include Sting, U2, Crowded House, Squeeze, REM.
